About us

The Otmoor Garden Society was formed in June 1996 by a few keen gardeners living in the neighbouring villages around Otmoor, an area of Oxfordshire which lies between Oxford and Bicester, to bring together like-minded people with an interest in gardening to exchange ideas and experiences. From these early beginnings, the society has grown steadily and now has over 100 members.

The Society is a friendly, local club which meets on the fourth Tuesday of most months. You do not need to have any previous gardening knowledge or experience to enjoy the wide range of events on offer!

Two of our members gardens, both winners of the Frosts & Oxford Times Garden of the Year competition - 2005 winner (left) and 2004 winner (right).

The society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
